If anyone noticed, I was a little MIA this summer.
A little thing called Birchbox happened.
My summer-long internship with the e-commerce site turned trend creator turned brick-and-mortar store was an absolutely amazing ride.
Not only was I able to work directly with the PR team on large-scale initiatives, I was able to be part of the revolutionary brand's first STORE opening.
The space itself is to die for. Organized in the way we shop online (by category, not brand--duh) the shop boasts two floors of beauty + lifestyle heaven. Did I mention there's a BYOB station where customers can build their own boxes?
The store also has a "try bar" and service station for hair, makeup, and nail services.
So, yes, it's a kinda a big deal.
I've already been away for a full month and am itching to get back to the city and this truly one-of-a-kind company.

Now that I have finally settled into a routine with classes, clubs, and work I can take a breather in a space I've wanted to create for so long. Throughout college my personal style has evolved, and while the pink definitely is still there--I've moved towards a simpler color pallet that I view as classic.
Hello, gorgeous $1.5M reno.
A few pops of color that sit under my desk from a few of my favorite places.
The photo above is one of the Greecian-printed ottomans that rest at the foot of my bed. Not only are they great for additional seating, but they provide tons of storage.

Notice the rolling rack? The room is in a historic house with get this, no closets. Although initially this seemed like a huge issue, having pieces hung up within the room adds a pop to the neutral pallet.

At the beginning of summer, I wrote a guest post on my sweet friend Olivia's wonderful blog Prep Essentials. She spent her summer at an amazing internship in Chicago and was looking for a few tricks of the trade for soon-to-be city girls.

We're baaaack! After an absolutely hectic few weeks of finishing up my internship at Birchbox, navigating between NYC/Louisville/Charleston, and participating in my last rush, we welcomed 57 gorgeous new members into Alpha Delta Pi on Bid Day.
Note my actual sister!
Photos are courtesy of the amazing Amelia Swab who came back to shoot Bid Day after graduating last May--thank you Amelia!
